Flying can be stressful. By the time you take your seat, you’ve found a flight, packed, bought your ticket, checked-in both yourself and your luggage at the airport, and made sure that you have arrived early enough to board. To reduce your stress level and make your flight is as relaxing as possible, follow these simple tips.

1) Buy Airfare from WholesaleFlights.com – Wholesale-Flights.com allows you to speak to a real person, find the best deal possible, and pay economy prices for business class and first class flights. If you have any worries or issues, you can call your personal travel agent.

2) Get an Electronic Ticket – Don’t worry about a paper ticket; get an e-ticket. Your e-ticket cannot be misplaced, stolen or forgotten at home. Your ticket is in the airline’s computers. If you want extra security, print your confirmation and bring it with you.

3) Check-In Online – Save yourself time by checking in online, instead of waiting in line at the airport. You can also pre-check your bags by letting the airline know how many you are intending to check-in.

4) Arrive Early to the Airport – Even with an online check-in and an electronic ticket, arrive at your airport an hour early for domestic flights and two hours early for international flights to reduce any opportunities for stress.

5) Bring a Carry-On – If at all possible, if you are taking a short trip only bring a carry-on. It’s lighter, easier, requires no luggage check-in and cannot be lost.

If you follow these easy tips, you’ll find that as you take your seat onboard you’ll be relaxed and stress-free!

Although each international destination is different, staying healthy on any trip can be easy if you take the right precautions. Do your research, educate yourself, and plan ahead with these easy tips to make sure you are healthy on your next international traveling excursion.

1) Do Health & Disease Research – Don’t depend solely on your doctor, do your own research to find out about recommended shots for your destination and current disease information. Check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website, http://www.cdc.gov/travel and the World Health Organization (WHO) website, http://www.who.int/ith/en for more information.

2) Quickly Make an Appointment for Immunizations and Medications – Preferably at least six weeks before your departure, see your doctor to find out which immunizations you may need, and what medications you may need to begin taking. Depending upon your destination, you may need a few weeks (or more) to implement precautionary shots and medicines. Make your appointment as soon as possible. Putting off this step could be detrimental.

3) Plan for Your Individual Health Needs – While visiting your doctor for immunizations, also talk to them about any your individual health issues and concerns. Don’t forget to stock up on extra allergy medicine, birth control pills, asthma inhalers, or other medications that you could need on your trip.

4) Research your Destination – Is the water safe? Is the air quality poor? Do the mosquitos carry malaria? Is it going to be sweltering hot? Know the precautions you may need to take, such as bringing bug spray and sunscreen, or avoiding tap water and street vendors.

5) Purchase Travel Health Insurance – Even if you take all precautions, you may still find yourself with a case of food poisoning, traveler’s diarrhea, or dehydration. To ease your mind you may want to think about purchasing traveler’s health insurance. You can never be too safe!

5 Things You Forgot to Pack

You’ve checked off your list: clothes, toiletries, traveler’s checks, passport… You are ready to fly overseas, or so you think. Before you go, take a look at our list of five things you might have forgotten to pack. It’s better to be safe than sorry!

1) Copies of Your Passport – Make several copies of your passport and give to a family member of friend at home and travel partners, just to be safe. Also keep an extra copy on your person at all times. If your passport goes missing, you will be overjoyed that you took the few minutes to make copies. While you’re at it, make copies of your visas and itinerary and bring an extra set of passport photos.

2) Traveler’s Check Serial Numbers – If you are traveling with traveler’s checks, take a few moments to sit down and write a list of your serial numbers. No one wants to think that they will need this information, but it is better to be safe than sorry. Writing this list and giving a copy to a trusted friend or family member, and crossing off the serial numbers as you use them, will help you trace the checks in the event that they are stolen or accidentally lost. Losing them is as easy as losing your wallet or purse, and recovering them is as easy as having made this list prior to traveling.

3) International Calling Card – If you’re not going to use a global cell phone plan, grab an international calling card. Make sure you get one without a connection fee or a maintenance fee, and one that doesn’t charge you hidden taxes and surcharges. You never know when you’ll need to make a quick call and with an international calling card, it will be easy. Carry a cheat sheet with the directions on how to dial for quick use.

4) Letters from your Doctor About Medications – If you are traveling with prescription medication, have your doctor write a note on business letterhead with contact information about each of your medications. The letter should say what the drug is, and why you need it. Also bring copies of your prescriptions and generic names of your drugs in case you need to purchase while overseas. Always bring your prescription drugs in the original container with the label declaring the drug and your name.

5) Comfortable, Safe Money Belt – Strap your money, credit cards, and important papers to you persononally. Buy a comfortable and safe money belt that goes around your waist or straps across your chest. A money belt can add peace of mind to any international trip; your valuables will be out of sight, out of mind, and out of the way of pickpockets.

While we’re talking about what to bring, here are a few items you should leave at home:

- Fancy clothing that marks you as an affluent traveler

- Expensive jewelry

- Family heirlooms

- Unnecessary credit cards, such as department store credit cards

- Your Social Security card

- Wallet items that you won’t need overseas, such as your library card or buyer’s club cards

Make sure to give us a call to save the most on your international flights. We are here to help you save!

Paris, France’s largest city and capital, is one of the world’s leading cultural and business centers. Overflowing with landmarks, monuments, gardens, parks, museums, art galleries, restaurants, shops, and simply bursting with culture, it’s a popular destination for business, pleasure, and everything in between.

If you’re planning a trip to Paris, call one our travel experts today to get the best deals on business and first class flights.

Paris is served by two major airports: Orly Airport and the Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, one of the busiest in the world.

Six Things To Do While Visiting Paris:

There are countless choices for museums, bike tours, walking tours, restaurants, art galleries, and more, but we’ve narrowed it down to a few things that you must do on your trip. Of course you must see the Eiffel Tower and visit the Louvre, but if you have time a bike tour and cooking class should make your Paris to-do list!

Bike About Tours – There’s nothing like Paris on a bike! Bike About Tours caters to English speaking travelers and offers day tours that make your feel like a true Parisian, and private tours for families or other groups. The rides are leisurely and perfect for all fitness levels.

Moulin Rouge – What is Paris without a true cabaret? Built in 1889 by Joseph Oliver, Moulin Rouge is a popular tourist destination. The current show at Moulin Rouge is Féerie – a show consisting of 100 performance artists, including acrobats, dancers, clowns and magcians. Each show at the Moulin Rouge lasts for 10-12 years; Féerie has been the show since 1999.

Cooking With Class – If you love French food and enjoy cooking, you must make a reservation at Cook’n With Class. You may enjoy a morning class with a trip to the local market, an evening class, or you may focus on what you love best: cake decorating, French desserts, baking (think delicious breakfast pastries!), or a macaroon class. Mmm… can you smell the freshly baked croissants?

Louvre – What a trip to Paris be without visiting the Louvre, a historic monument and one of the world’s largest museums. The Louvre offers a plethora of objects and displays – over 380,000 – from Islamic art and Egyptian antiquities, to Romanesque sculpture and 13th century painting.

Lunch in the Loft – Yes, there are other clandestine restaurants in Paris that serve private lunches, though this one is said to be delicious, entertaining and still relatively undiscovered. In true French style, meals are cooked from a Parisian-sized kitchen and the only thing between you and the chef is a theatrical curtain. Bon appetit!

Eiffel Tower – Last but not least, the Eiffel Tower. Whether you go all the way to the top or have a Parisian picnic at the bottom, it is a must see for any traveler in Paris!

These are only a few of many thousands of options for Paris entertainment. Bon voyage!

Many people have asked about our phone system for selling affordable, inexpensive, yet high quality international business class and first class flights. While they love our low prices and service, they want to know why we don’t sell tickets directly online and why they must call us to book. We know that this is the real-time, internet information age – but we also know that we offer perks, benefits, and better deals than you are going to get with a ‘one flight fits all’ type of mass production site.

There are major advantages to calling us, including:

You Will Speak With a Live Person

Even in today’s instant-gratification climate it is imperative to have a real, live person to speak with when purchasing something as important as your international business and first class flights. A live person can find out exactly what you need and what is important to you, and make sure you receive the best choices for your specific tastes.

Our travel experts can find discounts and offers that you won’t be offered anywhere else online. They can check all flights by all companies manually and real-time, and save you 30-70% off flights with most major airlines.

Reservation Systems Are Not Always Accurate

Reservations systems have glitches that we don’t have. They have 72 hours to cancel, are known to overbook, and aren’t usually confirmed immediately. Since you are speaking with a live person when you call Wholesale-Flights.com, you are offered the peace of mind that comes with knowing that your flight is confirmed immediately, it is not overbooked, will not be canceled, and is exactly what you need.

Low Fares on International Business & First Class Flights

Wholesale Flights has negotiated contracts with major consolidators and are uniquely positioned to pass these savings on to you. We truly offer the lowest-priced airfare and the most convenient flights to any destination in the world. Our low prices cannot be beat. It’s worth picking up the phone for!

Travel Agent Relationship

Not only do you speak with a live travel agent when you call to book a flight with Wholesale-Flights.com, but you are encouraged to build a relationship with your specific agent. You may take their name and call them for future flights. Instead of hoping for the best deals on an online site, you can build a relationship with a travel expert who knows your name, knows your business, and knows how to get you the best, wholesale price flights for your specific needs.

While computers are great, nothing can beat a pair of hands with extra keys – which also means nothing can beat deep discounts and real-time special deals based on your needs. Speaking with a live person brings a level of customer service to purchasing international business class and first class flights that you just can’t find anywhere else.

Call us today to speak with a knowledgable agent who will be happy to find you unbelievable deals on wholesale cost business class and first class flights around the world: (888) 499-2521.

Affordable Business and First Class Airline Tickets

Most people can agree that flying can be a cramped and uncomfortable experience, and that business-class and first-class airline tickets are very expensive. Although most people agree with those statements, many are not aware that they can enjoy comfortable and luxurious flights at an affordable rate. If you have never flown high-quality, second-tier business-class (also known as upper class or executive class) or first class, you literally do not know what you’re missing.

Unbelievable Deals for Business Class & First Class Airline Tickets

You may be thinking that you can’t afford business-class or first-class airline tickets, but you couldn’t be further from the truth. At Wholesale-Flights.com, we have unbelievable deals for business-class and first-class tickets. We offer bulk fares that are unobtainable through other websites, and even unobtainable through the airlines themselves. You must see them to believe them!

How is this possible? Usually airlines pay a commission to travel agents for executive class tickets. In other words, if a ticket is $1000, the airline pays a 10% commission and the travel agent still has to sell the ticket for $1000. This is not the way we do business at Wholesale-Flights.com. We buy bulk wholesale tickets for a highly discounted rate and sell them for any price we choose. This means highly discounted business-class and first-class tickets to our customers at truly unbelievable rates.

Benefits of Executive Class Flights

What is the difference between economy class and business class, other than price? Imaging slipping into larger, cradle seats and having as much legroom as you enjoy in your living room recliner. Depending upon the airline, you may recline comfortably, lie at an angle facing the aisle, or lie completely flat to nap your way through state and country borders. Add on the bonus of high-quality meals that make economy food seem like peanuts- no pun intended! As if that wasn’t enough, enjoy your complimentary alcoholic beverages of choice, at no cost to you. Sounds great doesn’t it?

It is!

Once you fly in the lap of luxury with business or first-class at our discounted rates – economy flights will be a thing of the past.

Call Wholesale-Flights.com Today!

British Virgin Islands

Coves of white sand beaches rolling down to crystal blue and green Caribbean water… sound like the image of paradise? Take away the giant resort buildings and add tons of local flavor and only moderate tourism, and the result is one of the best destinations on the planet: the British Virgin Islands.

This collection of islands has everything from the largest and relatively bustling island of Tortola (population under 24,000) to tiny, virtually uninhabited islands with no electricity. There are great houses to rent, small locally owned hotels and resorts to stay in, and great restaurants. There is the natural wonder Virgin Gorda, where giant rocks from the island’s volcanic past sit at the shoreline, and make up a maze-like path you can take from one side of The Baths to the other – either by swimming and snorkeling or by foot path.

The British Virgin Islands have managed to keep large, beachfront condos and resorts from developing, even on Tortola, so although tourism is a large part of the economy, it feels more like a local secret than other Caribbean destinations (the Bahamas come to mind).

Wholesale Flights offers tickets to the airport in Virgin Gorda. A ferry is available to travel between Virgin Gorda and Tortola, as well as a few of the other larger islands. The off-season this far south is actually our summer season, which is great for families looking for a summer vacation spot, and to avoid the higher cost of in-season rates.

Once you arrive in Tortola, if that is your main BVI destination, you will benefit greatly by renting a car. But be forewarned – driving in Tortola is not for the faint of heart. If you know how, a standard transmission handles the very steep, winding roads better than an automatic. Honk your horn around hairpin turns, and drive safely!

Highlights:

Virgin Gorda:

The Baths

Tortola:

Road Town (the capital) for shopping

Cane Garden Bay for beach bars and water recreation

Smuggler’s Cove – for the best snorkeling and a good view of history

Places to go:

For the party animals – Bomba’s Shack, where mushroom tea is the drink of choice. The full moon parties are things of legend in the area.

For the music lovers – Quito’s Gazebo, a beach bar on Cane Garden Bay, where local musician Quito Rhymer plays fantastic music either solo or with his band, The Edge.

For the outdoor lovers – Sage Mountain, where beautiful, lush vegetation overgrows the hiking paths. For 360 degree views, sometimes ranging as far as Puerto Rico, check out the Skyworld restaurant.

And one last tip – Don’t forget to take your Painkillers! (A secret BVI concoction: Pusser’s Rum, cream of coconut, orange and pineapple juices – once you try one, you’ll never stop attempting to duplicate it yourself!)
